Letter from the Director
Though COVID-19 cases are on the rise with the new Omicron variant, our community stands ready as we have learned much through the initial wave and delta variant. We are excited for our opening in early 2022. We continue to take every precaution for the safety of our future residents and employees by continuing to wear masks and maintaining social distancing throughout the community, in our dining rooms, and with all activities – We have implemented an Accushield screening tool to assist with screening all visitors that come into the community, including all employees. We welcome all prospects for personal visits – as well as we continue to offer other opportunities to meet us through electronic mail and virtual visits. We are proud to welcome our newest residents into our community, our family, and look forward to a wonderful future.
WE CARE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
Here is what we are doing at our community:
We are following CDC and local Health Department guidelines for infection control and personal protective equipment for all of our staff.
We are monitoring the CDC and local Health Department guidelines and meeting with our leadership and staff to ensure that all of our employees understand and follow the latest guidelines.
We are disinfecting our facilities and offices using products approved by the CDC, we are making rounds to ensure that our spaces are clean and employees are following the infection control practices recommended by CDC.
We are keeping you updated with Ambassador calls and One Call notifications to our families.
We have set up an email for staff to email questions and concerns and leadership rounds to address questions on the spot.
We are pre-screening our employees prior to each shift using a screening tool that reflects questions that allow us to screen for exposure and temperature checks prior to each shift.
We look forward to when we may have you back in our facilities and with your loved ones. Please call us if you have questions and concerns, we are here for you!
EVERYONE CAN DO THEIR PART TO HELP!
Prevent and Protect encourages everyone to:
- Practice the 3Ws and Wear a cloth covering over their nose and mouth; Wait six feet apart; and Wash their hands often.
- Get tested for COVID-19 and use Find My Testing Place to locate a nearby testing site.
- Answer the call and participate in the contact tracing process if they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
